Schedule:
- Open FTE = Open shift coverage
- Shift length: 9- & 12-hour shifts
- On Call: None
Details:
- Inpatient Responsibilities: No
- Outreach: No
- Number of Physicians: 1-2 Physician coverage day hours. 1 Physician coverage night hours.
- Number of Advanced Practice Providers: 1-2
- Supervision of APP(s) expected: Yes
- Clinic Provider Daily Volume: ED Volume average 77 patients per day
- Job Responsibilities: ED Physician coverage
- EMR: Cerner Powerchart until June then EPIC
- Teaching Opportunity: teaching hospital
- Trauma Level 3
- 250 beds
- 33,000 annual visits
- Peak shifts/busiest is during 11a-11p
- Transfer out less than 3% of patients
- 60-90 days for privileging
Submission Requirements
- Ability to get them privileged quickly – no lengthy work histories (cred staff goes back 10 years) - Required at name clear
- Board Certified ABEM/AOBEM - Required at name clear
- Clean background - Required, note at time of name clear
- Active IA License or IMLC - Required
- Fellowship Trained - Emergency Medicine
- ACLS & PALS are required through AHA; if ER boarded ACLS and PALS are waived; ATLS required for trauma privileges
- Availability - Required at time of presentation
- Must be available for night shifts
