Full-Time | Two-Hospital Coverage | Strong APP Support

Clinical Opportunity

A quality-driven health system in Altoona, Pennsylvania is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to join a collaborative Emergency Medicine team covering two hospitals.

Physicians will share shifts between both sites, each staffed daily with advanced practice provider (PA/NP) support.

Hospital #1

  • Community hospital with ~50,000 ED visits annually

  • Level III Trauma Center

  • Accredited HeartCARE Center with cardiac cath lab & chest pain center

  • Thrombectomy-capable stroke center

  • Accredited Breast Imaging Center of Excellence

  • Lung cancer screening center

  • Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll

  • Stroke Honor Roll & Gold Plus Award recipient

Hospital #2

  • 40-bed hospital with ~18,000 ED visits annually

  • Fully accredited by The Joint Commission

  • Joint Commission–accredited Acute Stroke Ready Hospital

  • ACR-designated lung cancer screening center

  • CAP-accredited laboratory

  • Excellent APP coverage and support

Position Highlights
