STATUS is seeking a physician to become a part of our Emergency Department team in Carrollton, Illinois. This low volume, low acuity ED is located only one hour from St. Louis, Missouri. STATUS Health Partners is a physician owned and operated group in the Midwest that specializes in staffing rural hospital emergency departments.
Position Highlights
- Annual ED Volume: 2,793 patients
- Low trauma, low acuity ER
- Independent hospital with supportive administration and board of directors
- Stable nursing staff
- Work 24 or 48 hour shifts
- 1099 independent contractor
Qualifications
- Board certified or eligible in EM, FM, or IM
- ATLS, ACLS, & PALS
- Previous EM experience required

Thomas H. Boyd Memorial Hospital is a 25 bed not for profit Critical Access Hospital. It was opened in September 1941 as an acute care hospital and in 1999 became the first critical access hospital in the State of IL. The hospital is licensed by the Illinois Department of Public Health. The Hospital maintains a medical unit with a 24 hour Emergency Department and also manages the only ambulance service located in Greene County that runs 2 ACLS rigs daily.
