Emergency Department Snapshot
- 52-bed ED within a 288-bed hospital
- Level III Trauma Center
- Approximately 42,500 annual visits
- 40-50 hours/day physician coverage (overlapping schedules)
- 24 hours/day APC coverage
- 1.8 to 2.0 patients per hour
- Integrated patient care: TeamHealth provides care across EM, hospital medicine, and intensivist service lines
- 24/7 OB/Gyn and L&D in-house, Level III NICU; STEMI 24/7; interventional neurology, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, orthopedics, interventional cardiology, interventional stroke, surgical specialties, and more
