It’s known for its rich history, scenic surroundings, and outdoor recreational opportunities, including hiking, fishing, and skiing in the nearby Wallowa Mountains. The town has a charming downtown area with historic buildings, local shops, and restaurants. It's also close to attractions like the Oregon Trail and the Baker City Historic District.

Opportunity:
- Looking for an Emergency Medicine provider to start ASAP for a minimum of 6 shifts per month.
- Single ED physician covers 24 hours shifts.
- Average patient volume is 21 per 24 hour shift.
- Vast majority of the patients are Level 3,4 or 5 (72%).
- Primary care coverage of inpatient care 24/7.
- Effective telestroke program well established.
- Single call to Medical Access Center for transfers/physician consultation.
- EMR: EPIC
- Credentialing timeframe: 2-3 months
