- BC / BE Emergency Medicine residency trained physician
- Join a cohesive group of physicians who are all EM residency trained, board certified and have an average tenure of 14 years.
-Work closely with a talented group of advanced practice providers and staff.
-This is an employed position with a progressive and financially secure health system.
-Find your work/life balance in family-centered communities.
Practice Details:
- 32 room department recently renovated and optimized
-All day and evening shifts; no overnights
-Full time is 15 10-hour shifts per month
-Department has 50 hours of physician coverage and 30 hours of APP coverage per day
-Adult and pediatric hospitalist do their own admissions
-Not a trauma facility; no heads, no open hearts
Compensation and Benefits:
-Paid malpractice with tail

Employee (including physician) turnover is well below the national average.The communities are family-friendly with lots of outdoor activities and sports. Enjoy a small-town feel with all of the amenities you need including a university. Also, less than 1 hr to University of Illinois, 2 hrs to St. Louis and Indianapolis.

- $450,000 base salary
- $75,000 sign-on bonus
- $60,000 total retention bonus (paid $20,000 at the end of years 1, 2 & 3)
- $6,000 CME annually
