I’m the regional medical director for Montefiore Westchester Square, located in The Bronx, New York. I have been a part of Sound for eight years. I’m proud of the emergency medicine practice we have built and welcome interest from physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) coming out of training or desiring a career change. • We are a closely-knit, established team of eight physicians and seven advanced practice providers operating between Mount Vernon and Westchester Square.
• Our group comes from various areas in the Tri-state Area -NYC, NJ, and Hudson Valley.
• I am involved in all medical staff meetings and committees.

Practice

• Cater to a diverse patient population with a low-volume ED with high acuity directly, providing a dynamic and challenging work environment.
• Single physician coverage ensures a focused and independent approach to medical decision-making and treatment provision.
• We maintain strong connections through team meetings bi-monthly.
• Recognizing the importance of family and spending time outdoors, we offer a flexible schedule. We’re always there to support each other when covering shifts.
• The expected annual compensation for this role is $80,000 in addition to the clinical hourly rate of $220 for days and $240 for nights.
• Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability, 401k with match, paid medical malpractice and tail coverage, and annual CME allowance.
