CHRISTUS Bossier Emergency Hospital is part of CHRISTUS Health, a not-for-profit system made up of outpatient and long-term care facilities, community hospitals, walk-in clinics and health ministries. CHRISTUS Bossier Emergency Hospital is a "micro-hospital" the first of its kind in the state of Louisiana. Offering 24/7 emergency care, short-stay inpatient beds, and advanced imaging and diagnostic lab services, the facility is staffed with top-notch medical professionals committed to treating and healing the residents of this region.
Community Description
Bossier City is located on the eastern bank of the Red River and is closely tied economically and socially to its larger sister city Shreveport on the opposite bank. The Shreveport-Bossier City metropolitan area is the center of the region known as the Ark-La-Tex. Bossier City offers great neighborhoods, plenty of amenities, low cost of living and great schools.

- 8-bed micro-hospital
- 9,125 annual ED volume
- 24-hour physician coverage
- 12 or 24-hour shifts (6 a.m.-6 p.m.; 6 p.m.-6 a.m.)
