Location: Stevens Point, Wisconsin (and floating)
Facility: Health System
Opportunity: ** Due to a physician cancelling a bulk of shifts due to illness and with not enough internal or current locum options, I am opening this up for ASAP coverage starting next month. The following shifts need to be covered and I would want someone with ongoing availability:
Sept 5, 7-8 nights
Sept 13 day/night (we could book a 24 hour shift)
Sept 20, 23-25 days
For someone with a clean file and who is licensed, we can request emergency privileges. ***
(combined departments, providers are credentialed at both locations.)
12 hour shifts 7a-7p and 7p-7a
2nd hospital opening in October- they Prefer 24 hour shifts starting at 7a but will also do 12 hour shifts.
Combined ED/UC
Single coverage
Prefer ABEM
Provider would have opportunities to float to other locations
average daily volume is between 25-30 with only 3-5 being actual ER patients. We have an APC M-F 10AM-5p (she sees the inpatients and then moves over to ER to cover the UC patients)
• Twelve bed inpatient unit staffed during the day by NP working with a tele-hospitalist. Tele-hospitalist coverage at night. Tele-stroke planned. Other specialty care available in Marshfield or Weston.
• On site lab, x-ray and CT. No unscheduled MRI. Point of care ultrasound available for use by ED providers. Diagnostic ultrasound weekdays and potentially weekends and evenings (TBD).
• Experienced Nursing support
** provider must utilize "real time" Mobile Time Clock, preferably GPS
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate with malpractice included. Travel and lodging provided.
