We are currently seeking Emergency Medicine Locums to join our team in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. This position offers 12-hour day and night shifts, providing flexibility and a competitive hourly rate of $265.

Job Details:

- Location: Rice Lake, WI

- Shifts: 12-hour day and night shifts available

- Hourly Rate: $265

Job Responsibilities:

- Attend to the medical needs of patients in the Emergency Department (ED)

- Treat and manage a range of patient cases, including resuscitation/emergent, urgent, and semi-urgent/non-urgent conditions

- Average patient volume per shift: 10 - 20 patients

- Department capacity: 16 beds

- Temp Privs available for immediate start

- Access to strong support services to aid in patient care

Patient Acuity:

- 15% of patients require resuscitation/emergent care

- 50% of patients have urgent medical needs

- 35% of patients present with semi-urgent/non-urgent conditions

Yearly Patient Volume:

- Approximately 14,000 visits per year

Admissions and Transfers:

- 9.9% of patients admitted year to date

- 3.9% of patients transferred year to date

Code Response:

- Emergency Department providers do respond to inpatient codes when required

Qualifications:

- Board certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) is not required for this location
