Emergency Medicine Physician – Level II Trauma Center – Dothan, AL

- License/Certifications: Active Alabama Medical License, ABEM or AOBEM certification or eligibility
- Experience: Residency-trained in Emergency Medicine; preferred 2+ years experience
- Pay Rate: $210/hour (base pay) plus night differential, bonuses, incentives

What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population in a busy Level II trauma center
- Manage a high acuity caseload of approximately 60,000 annual visits
- Collaborate with mid-level providers and hospitalist teams in a fast-paced environment
- Utilize clinical decision units for observation and disposition of patients
- Participate in quality improvement and trauma review initiatives
- Maintain compliance with hospital and state medical standards
Required:
- Medical license in Alabama (or eligible)
- Board-certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
- Residency-trained in Emergency Medicine
- Strong clinical skills in high-acuity environments
Preferred:
- 2+ years emergency department experience
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume setting
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
