14000 volume ED. $170/hr. with full benefits including malpractice with tail. This is based on working a minimum of 1,656 hours per year (36 hrs. /week X 46 weeks, with remainder for vacation and CME’s). In addition there is a $10,000 annual bonus for sound clinical performance, this works out to just about $300K a year, if you wish to work 2,000 hours a year (there are plenty of hours available), the annual income number goes up to $350,000.
