About the Opportunity: 32 room department recently renovated and optimized All day and evening shifts; no overnights Full time is 15 10-hour shifts per month Department has 50 hours of physician coverage and 30 hours of APP coverage per day Adult and pediatric hospitalists do their own admissions Not a trauma facility; no heads, no open hearts Must be EM residency trained Compensation: Above median base salary Quality bonus, signing bonus and retention bonus available Relocation assistance available Three retirement plans including a unique supplemental plan Health, vision, dental, life and disability coverage Paid malpractice with tail About Mattoon: Centrally located in Mattoon, Health Center is a 128-bed, community hospital in East Central Illinois - 180 miles south of Chicago and 130 miles east of St. Louis. The Health Center provides a full range of acute-care, general services and home health services to approximately 357,000 residents of Coles and the surroundings 12 counties. The Health Center's active and consulting medical staff includes nearly 200 providers representing multiple specialties.
