The Role & Clinical Focus
The incoming physician will be crucial in expanding our specialized diagnostic services, focusing predominantly on complex dermatopathology case interpretation.

Primary Responsibility: High-volume diagnostic sign-out of dermatopathology cases, including skin biopsies and excisions.

Expert Consultation: Provide authoritative dermatopathology diagnostic services, serving as a consultant for challenging cases, including:

Inflammatory Dermatoses, Cutaneous Neoplasms, Adnexal Disorders

Advanced Diagnostics: Utilize and master our cutting-edge digital pathology platform to ensure accurate and timely case sign-out.

Quality & Collaboration: Uphold rigorous CAP/CLIA/NYS standards, contribute to laboratory quality assurance, participate in protocol development for skin pathology, and present relevant cases at Tumor Board.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications
We are seeking a candidate with demonstrated expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to precision diagnostics.

Certification: BE/BC in Dermatopathology (AP/CP Board Certification required).

Experience: A minimum of 4+ years of significant experience with a primary focus on dermatopathology sign-out is essential.

Communication: Proven track record of excellent communication skills for effective clinical collaboration.

Technology Proficiency: Demonstrated computer skills to seamlessly navigate and utilize digital pathology systems.

Licensure: Active or eligibility for NJ and NY State Medical Licenses is required.

Preferred (Not Required): Experience in general surgical pathology is a desirable asset.
