Job Responsibilities
• Diagnostics & Procedures: Perform skin biopsies, excisions, minor dermatological surgeries, and interpret diagnostic results.
• Patient Education: Counsel patients and families on preventive skin health, skin cancer awareness, and effective skincare regimens.
• Collaboration: Work alongside multi-disciplinary teams, support staff (NPs, PAs, medical assistants), and referring physicians.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely patient records utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Compliance: Adhere to all HIPAA, OSHA, state medical board, and safety
Qualifications
• Residency/Fellowship: Completion of an accredited dermatology residency program.
• Certification: Board-Certified or Board-Eligible through the American Board of Dermatology.
• License: Active, unrestricted state medical license (or eligible to obtain).
