Position Overview:
- We are seeking experienced, US-based Dermatologists to support the evaluation, validation, and improvement of AI-generated medical content.
- In this role, you will apply your clinical dermatology expertise to assess AI-generated medical outputs for accuracy, safety, completeness, and clinical relevance. You will also review dermatology images through a structured online evaluation platform, helping improve the quality, reliability, and clinical usefulness of AI systems in healthcare.
- This is a flexible, fully remote opportunity for dermatologists interested in applying their clinical expertise to emerging AI and healthcare technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review AI-generated medical content for dermatological accuracy, safety, completeness, and clinical relevance.
- Evaluate AI-generated diagnoses, differential diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and clinical summaries.
- Review dermatology images for image quality, diagnostic usability, and clinical relevance.
- Assess image characteristics including blur, lighting, exposure, color balance, resolution, and framing.
- Where appropriate, identify likely dermatological conditions and provide structured confidence ratings.
- Document clinical reasoning and provide clear, evidence-based feedback.
- Identify potential clinical errors, omissions, inconsistencies, or safety concerns in AI-generated outputs.
- Help evaluate AI performance against established, evidence-based dermatology standards.
- Collaborate with clinicians, medical reviewers, and AI researchers to improve healthcare AI systems.
- Maintain professional judgment and confidentiality when working with sensitive medical information and images.
Requirements:
- Must be based in the United States.
- MD, DO, MBBS, or equivalent medical qualification with specialization in Dermatology.
- Currently licensed and practicing as a physician in the United States.
- Minimum 5 years of post-residency dermatology experience.
- Strong clinical reasoning and attention to detail.
- Excellent ability to assess dermatological images and clinical information.
- Comfortable reviewing sensitive or graphic medical images.
- Comfortable working with web-based platforms, image annotation tools, and structured evaluation questionnaires.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Ability to provide objective, consistent, and evidence-based clinical feedback.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience reviewing or editing medical content.
- Clinical research or academic dermatology experience.
- Experience with medical image annotation or clinical image datasets.
- Previous involvement with AI/ML, healthcare technology, clinical informatics, or digital health.
- Experience evaluating clinical decision-support systems or AI-generated medical information.
- 100% remote

Qualifications
MD, DO, MBBS, or equivalent medical degree.
Formal specialization/residency training in Dermatology or equivalent qualification.
Currently licensed to practice medicine in the United States.
Currently practicing or maintaining active clinical experience in Dermatology.
Minimum 5 years of post-residency dermatology experience.
Strong clinical reasoning and written communication skills.
Ability to accurately evaluate dermatological conditions, diagnoses, and treatment recommendations.
Ability to review and assess dermatology images for clinical and diagnostic quality.
Comfortable working with sensitive or graphic medical images.
Comfortable using web-based platforms, image annotation tools, and structured questionnaires.
