Job description
An established dermatology practice in Northern Virginia is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Dermatologist to join its experienced clinical team.
The physician will have the opportunity to provide comprehensive dermatologic care to patients of all ages, with a broad clinical mix spanning medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
This opportunity is well suited for a clinically skilled, patient-focused Dermatologist who enjoys procedural dermatology, developing long-term patient relationships, and providing individualized treatment plans.
Job Responsibilities
Provide medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services based on training and clinical interests.
Develop individualized treatment plans and discuss treatment options with patients.
Perform dermatologic procedures, including biopsies and other appropriate in-office procedures.
Diagnose and manage skin cancers and other complex dermatologic conditions.
Provide appropriate follow-up care and monitor patient outcomes.
Educate patients regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, skin cancer prevention, and overall skin health.
Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely medical documentation.
Collaborate with advanced practice providers and clinical staff to support coordinated patient care.
Develop strong, long-term relationships with patients.
Contribute to an exceptional patient experience.
Maintain compliance with applicable clinical, regulatory, and professional standards.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an accredited Dermatology residency program.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology.
Eligible for or currently holding an unrestricted Virginia medical license.
Strong clinical and procedural skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered dermatologic care.
Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a collaborative clinical team.
