Opportunity Overview
A physician-owned boutique dermatology practice in the Los Angeles Metro Area is seeking an experienced Board-Certified Dermatologist to join a growing, patient-focused practice.
The practice provides a combination of medical, procedural, and cosmetic dermatology in a highly personalized environment designed around physician-patient relationships, clinical excellence, and exceptional patient experiences.
This opportunity is particularly well suited for a dermatologist who enjoys cosmetic-focused care, private-pay and PPO patients, clinical autonomy, and a relationship-driven practice model.
The position offers a competitive base compensation structure combined with a significant commission opportunity and no cap on commissions.
Job Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive medical, procedural, and cosmetic dermatology services.
Perform preventive skin examinations and dermatologic evaluations.
Diagnose and treat a broad range of dermatologic conditions.
Provide cosmetic dermatology consultations and procedures.
Perform appropriate minor surgical dermatologic procedures.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical needs.
Deliver evidence-based care while maintaining high standards for patient safety and quality.
Patient Experience
Provide a personalized, concierge-level patient experience.
Develop strong, long-term relationships with patients.
Clearly communicate treatment options, expectations, and recommendations.
Create a welcoming and professional environment for a discerning patient population.
Ensure patients feel informed, respected, and comfortable throughout their care.
Team Collaboration
Collaborate with medical providers, aestheticians, and administrative team members.
Coordinate care to create a seamless patient experience.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative clinical culture.
Participate in practice initiatives focused on growth, innovation, and clinical excellence.
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Board Certification in Dermatology required.
Active California medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
Strong clinical judgment.
Excellent patient-care and communication skills.
Commitment to personalized, high-quality dermatologic care.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience in private practice, concierge medicine, or a similar patient-focused dermatology environment.
Experience with cosmetic dermatology and aesthetic procedures.
Experience treating private-pay and/or PPO patient populations.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work autonomously.
Interest in an entrepreneurial, growth-oriented practice environment.
