Dermatology Physician – Ongoing Locum Tenens position - Lighthouse Point, FL - (DM)

Start Date: September 28, 2026, or sooner if credentialed
Assignment: Ongoing | Option for 3- or 6-month assignment with extension
Schedule: Mondays & Tuesdays, with potential for Thursdays
Shift: 6:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Work Environment: Outpatient / Private Practice
Call: No Call
Patient Volume: Approximately 20 patients/day
Patient Population: Pediatrics through geriatrics, primarily middle-aged to elderly patients

Opportunity Highlights

• Long-term outpatient Dermatology coverage
• 2 days per week ongoing, with potential to add a third day
• General Dermatology practice with a broad patient population
• Support from an owner and Medical Assistant who will assist with documentation and other clinical tasks
• Paper-based charting
• Currently one exam room, with an upcoming move to a nearby location with two exam rooms
• Open to new graduates

Clinical Responsibilities

• General Dermatology evaluations and management
• Cryosurgery
• Skin biopsies
• Excisions
• Electrodessication & curettage (ED&C)
• General dermatologic procedures

Cryosurgery will make up a significant portion of the practice.

Requirements

• Active Florida medical license
• BLS certification
• Board Certification preferred, but not required
• Dermatology experience preferred; new graduates may be considered
• DEA not required
• Must be eligible for Medicare enrollment with no background issues preventing enrollment
• Local candidates only; provider must be able to commute to the practice

Credentialing

• Approximately 30–45 days
• Existing payer enrollment may help streamline the process
