Job description
We are seeking a Locum Dermatologist for an ongoing outpatient opportunity in Lighthouse Point, FL. This role offers a consistent schedule of approximately 2 days per week, with potential for an additional Thursday as the assignment progresses. The practice sees patients from pediatric through geriatric populations, with a majority being middle aged to elderly
Job Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive general dermatology services
• Perform cryosurgery, biopsies & excisions
• Perform electrodessication & curettage (ED&C)
• Manage routine dermatology follow ups
• See approximately 20 patients per day
• Treat both established & new patients
• Complete patient documentation using paper charts
• Collaborate with the practice owner & medical assistant
• Refer Mohs cases as appropriate
Qualifications
• Active Florida medical license required
• Board Certification preferred but not required
• BLS required
• Cryosurgery experience strongly preferred
• Open to new graduates
• Must be eligible for Medicare enrollment
• No background issues that would prevent Medicare enrollment
Working Hours
• Potential for occasional Thursday coverage
• Approximately 2 days per week on an ongoing basis
• No call
• Local candidates only
• Provider must be able to drive to the practice & be located in Florida
