Job description
We are seeking a Dermatologist for a locum tenens position in Lighthouse Point, Florida. This is a long-term, ongoing outpatient need in a private practice setting. Please see below for more information.
- Outpatient clinic / private practice setting
- Charting: paper charts
- Local candidates only - no travel
Job Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage an established patient panel while accepting new patient consultations on a weekly basis
Manage a full outpatient clinic schedule averaging approximately 20 patients per day
Treat a patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric, with the majority being middle-aged to elderly
Perform cryosurgery, skin biopsies, excisions, and electrodesiccation and curettage (ED&C)
Refer out Mohs surgery cases as clinically indicated
Document patient encounters using paper charts
Qualifications
BLS certification
Working Hours
Monday and Tuesday clinic days, with potential for occasional Thursday coverage
No call required
