Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Dermatology Physician (MD/DO) for a locum opportunity at an outpatient clinic in Rochester, New York. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with no call responsibilities. The provider will deliver comprehensive dermatologic care, seeing approximately 25–35 patients per day, while utilizing Epic EMR. Providers with experience performing minor dermatologic procedures are encouraged to apply, although procedural work is optional.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive outpatient dermatology care for adult and pediatric patients as appropriate.
• Perform skin examinations, biopsies, and minor dermatologic procedures (if experienced).
• Document patient encounters accurately using Epic EMR.
• Collaborate with clinical support staff, including LPNs, RNs, and Medical Assistants.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and clinical documentation.
• Float to an additional outpatient dermatology clinic as needed.
Qualifications
• Active New York Medical License or pending New York license accepted.
• Minimum 3 years of recent Dermatology experience required.
• Recent Epic EMR experience required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience performing minor dermatologic surgeries is a plus.
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and patient care skills.
Working Hours
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM day shifts.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Flexible scheduling may be available.
• Assignment duration: 26 weeks.
