A well-established dermatology clinic in Rochester, New York is seeking a Board-Certified Dermatologist for a full-time locums opportunity. The provider will primarily support a busy outpatient dermatology practice with potential float coverage to an affiliated clinic nearby. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians seeking a high-volume dermatology setting with strong clinical support and flexible scheduling options.
Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat general dermatologic conditions
• Perform skin examinations, biopsies, lesion removals, and minor dermatologic procedures if desired
• Manage patient volumes of approximately 25–35 patients per day
• Document patient encounters using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with nursing and clinical support staff for efficient patient flow
• Support affiliated dermatology clinic coverage as needed
Qualifications
• Active New York medical license required at submission
• Minimum 3 years of recent Dermatology experience required
• Recent EPIC EMR experience required
• BLS Certification required
• Strong clinical and procedural dermatology skills preferred
• Clean, updated work history with no unexplained gaps over 30 days
Working Hours
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• No call responsibilities
• Full-time locums coverage
Skills
• Skin evaluations and lesion management
• Minor dermatologic procedures preferred
• Outpatient dermatology workflow management
• EPIC charting proficiency
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinic environment
