Job description
We are seeking a skilled Dermatologist or Physician with a strong clinical background to lead dermatology-focused clinical research studies at our Cincinnati site. This role offers flexibility — either full-time or part-time — and provides an opportunity to advance medical innovation in skin health and treatment.
Overview
The Principal Investigator (PI) is responsible for leading and overseeing all clinical trial activities, ensuring they are conducted in compliance with regulatory standards, ethical guidelines, and company policies. The PI will serve as the lead medical authority for site-level study operations and act as the primary liaison between sponsors, clinical teams, and research participants.
Job Responsibilities
• Personally conduct or supervise study procedures, ensuring all delegated staff are properly qualified and trained.
• Maintain strict adherence to study protocols, FDA regulations (Title 21 CFR Part 312), and GCP standards.
• Review subject data, lab results, imaging, and biopsy reports, providing expert clinical interpretation when needed.
• Lead and mentor Sub-Investigators and clinical research team members.
• Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of research data.
• Collaborate with study monitors and assist in regulatory submission or IRB documentation.
• Participate in recruitment and screening of study subjects.
• Provide occasional weekend or after-hours coverage based on study requirements.
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology
• Minimum 2+ years of recent, patient-facing clinical experience
• Comfortable working onsite in a collaborative clinical research environment
