Job Overview – Medical Director (Dermatology)
Compensation: $300,000/year + bonus
Location: Duplin County, NC
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Medical Director (Dermatology) in Duplin County, NC for our client, leading clinical dermatology services, provider oversight, and program development across a multi-site healthcare environment. In this role, you will deliver hands-on patient care while establishing clinical standards, supporting providers, and driving service expansion. The ideal candidate will collaborate with primary care teams and leadership to deliver high-quality, evidence-based dermatologic care and improve patient outcomes.

- Clinical Care: Provide comprehensive dermatologic evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment across clinic locations.
- Procedural Services: Perform dermatologic procedures including biopsies, excisions, and in-office treatments.
- Medical Leadership: Establish clinical protocols and maintain standards of care across dermatology services.
- Provider Collaboration: Partner with providers to support dermatologic care and treatment planning.
- Program Development: Support growth and expansion of dermatology services across multiple sites.
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) is required.
- Licensure: Active medical license in the state of North Carolina or ability to obtain is required.
- Certification: Board Certification in Dermatology is required.
- Experience: 5+ years of clinical dermatology experience with prior leadership or medical director experience required.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of dermatologic care, procedures, and clinical best practices is required.
- Technical Skills: Experience with EMR systems and clinical documentation tools is required.
- Skills & Attributes: Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with a commitment to high-quality patient care.
