Job description We are seeking a board-certified Dermatologist for outpatient care in Oregon. This role involves providing high-quality dermatology care in a fast-paced, high-volume clinic setting with a focus on procedural dermatology. Ideal candidates will be proficient in EPIC and comfortable managing a patient load with minimal support. Flexible scheduling options are available, with a preference for 4-day workweeks.

Job Details

  • Location: Outpatient Dermatology Clinic, Oregon

  • Patient Volume: 24–30 patients per shift

  • Schedule: Full-time (4 days/week) preferred; 3 days/week considered if available ≥3 weeks/month

  • Guaranteed Hours: 9 hours/day (overtime applies after 9 hours)

  • Orientation: Shadowing one of our MDs for 1 day; EPIC support provided if needed

  • Compensation: Competitive hourly rate with overtime for hours beyond 9 per day


Job Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients in an outpatient dermatology setting
Perform dermatologic procedures including:
Biopsy
Excision
Electrodesiccation with curettage
Cryosurgery
Maintain accurate medical records in EPIC
Collaborate with support staff and other providers to ensure efficient patient flow
Adhere to clinic policies, regulatory guidelines, and patient safety standards

Qualifications

Board Certification: Dermatology
License: Active Oregon medical license (OR) and OR DEA
Certifications: BLS (required)
Experience: EPIC proficiency strongly preferred
Proven ability to handle high patient volume with minimal support
Strong procedural skills (biopsy, excision, electrodesiccation with curettage, cryosurgery)
Payor credentialing required (hospital privileges not necessary)

Working Hours

Typical Schedule
07:30–12:00: Paid Clinic (4 patients/hour)
12:00–12:30: Lunch (unpaid)
12:30–01:00: Paid Admin Time
01:00–04:00: Paid Clinic (4 patients/hour)
04:00–05:00: Paid Admin Time
Administrative Time: 1.5 hours/day, 6 hours/week

Skills

We require candidates to confirm schedule availability ahead of interviews; availability less than 3 weeks/month will not be considered.
Flexibility in scheduling is available, but 4-day workweeks are preferred.
Orientation includes shadowing and support for EPIC as needed.
