Private Dermatology Practice
Boston suburbs, MA
3 year succession plan to your ownership
The current owner does not want to sell to private equity
Successful practice with strong revenue
Have practice autonomy seeing a mix of General and open to Cosmetics
The schedule can less than full time as this practice practically runs itself
The providers are mostly PAs who generate the vast majority of revenue
NO weekends!
The practice is set up to maximize efficiency
MAs scribe
EMR is EMA
The buyout is via sweat equity over three years
A base salary and production provided
First year earnings potential over 500k if you hustle
The location is less than an hour from Boston.
Job Responsibilities
Examine patient skin for abnormalities or malignancies
Requests and performs biopsies, sample tissue collections, or other tests as needed
Analyze patient test results
Counsel and educate patients on hygiene, diet, and disease prevention
Perform cosmetic procedures such as liposuction, laser resurfacing, and microdermabrasion
Set patient goals and discuss treatment plan
Establish timelines, tasks, and medical needs of patients
Develop treatment plans for medications or skin therapy to help patient reach goal
Prescribe medications, hormonal agents, or topical treatments, and monitor patient intake
Recommend surgeons or other further treatments for advanced skin diseases or cancer
Consult with surgeons on patient procedures
Document patient records and progress including symptoms, medications, and treatments
Conduct research to better serve patients
Oversight responsibilities for the mid-level providers
Qualifications
Successful completion of U.S. Medical Licensing Examination (U.S.M.L.E.)
Certification by The American Board of Dermatology and licensed to work in state
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm
Friday 7am – 4pm
