We are seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Dermatologist to join a large multispecialty group in the Bronx. This is an outpatient opportunity with in-office procedures and possible phone call coverage. Part-time and full-time options are available.

J1 Waiver and CONRAD 30 candidates are welcome. H1B visa sponsorship is available.

Position Highlights

If working fewer than 20 hours per week, provider must carry their own malpractice insurance.

Job Summary

The Dermatologist will evaluate and manage a broad range of dermatologic conditions in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include assessing skin health, reviewing medical histories, performing diagnostic and minor surgical procedures, and developing individualized treatment plans. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and comfortable practicing independently.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ skin conditions and review medical histories

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic dermatologic disorders

• Prescribe medications and recommend appropriate treatment plans

• Perform in-office procedures and minor dermatologic surgeries

• Monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans as needed

• Educate patients on preventive skin care and disease management

• Refer patients to other specialists when appropriate

• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record

• Stay current with advancements in dermatology through continuing education

Qualifications

• MD or DO

• Board Certification in Dermatology (or board eligible)

• Active New York State medical license (or ability to obtain)

• Previous dermatology experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of dermatologic procedures and treatment modalities

• Excellent communication and patient education skills

• Strong attention to detail and clinical judgment
