Job Title: Critical Care Physician (Locum)

Position Overview
A well-established acute care hospital is seeking a Board-Certified Critical Care Physician for a PRN locum opportunity starting late August. This role offers flexible scheduling with night and weekend coverage in a collaborative ICU environment.
Schedule & Coverage
- PRN coverage (as needed)
- Night shifts: 7:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- Weekend options:
- 7:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- No call required
Practice Details
- 20-bed adult ICU
- Average daily census: 16–19 patients
- Weekend census: ~8–10 patients (with 2 attendings)
- Supervision of Internal Medicine residents
- Procedures required if residents unavailable
- EMR: Epic
Requirements
- Board Certified in Critical Care
- Active Massachusetts license (required)
- BLS & ACLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience
Additional Information
- PRN role covering gaps in schedule
- Credentialing timeframe: ~90 days
- Local candidates only (no travel or lodging provided)
