Facility:
This hospital is a well-established healthcare facility providing comprehensive medical services to the Northern California community. The facility features a 12-bed ICU department with trauma level 3 capabilities, ensuring quality critical care services for the region.
Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Critical Care Medicine
Job Details:
• Provide ICU coverage for 7 shifts per month (7am-7pm schedule)
• Guaranteed 12 hours per day with 5 patient encounters per shift
• Manage ventilation including invasive (ETT/NT/Tracheostomy) and non-invasive (BiPAP/CPAP) methods
• Handle evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues
• Bronchoscopy with bronchial alveolar lavage (BAL) preferred
• Central line and arterial line insertion preferred
• ICP evaluation and management preferred
• Dialysis catheter placement preferred
• Must hold active California medical license and CA DEA
• Board certified or board eligible within 3-5 years of residency required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in specialty required
• Credentialing timeline approximately 90 days with temporary privilege eligibility
• Assignment begins July 1, 2026 and ongoing
• No overtime expected for this position

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
