Facility:
This healthcare facility is a well-established medical center serving the southeastern Missouri region. The facility features a 14-bed ICU and 12-bed CTU, providing comprehensive critical care services to the community with a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Critical Care Medicine
Job Details:
• Provide 12-hour in-house day shift coverage with no call requirements
• Manage 8-14 patient encounters per shift in ICU and CTU settings
• Perform critical care procedures including intubation, arterial lines, and central lines
• Work schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off, approximately 1-2 weeks per month
• Manage ventilation including invasive and non-invasive methods
• Perform chest tube insertion and bronchoscopy with BAL capabilities
• Handle acute volume and blood pressure management
• Insert central lines, arterial lines, and PA catheters
• Manage intra-aortic balloon pump placement and ICP evaluation
• Perform dialysis catheter placement and diagnostic/therapeutic procedures
• Conduct lumbar punctures, paracentesis, and thoracentesis
• Board certification required with ATLS certification
• Must maintain active Missouri medical license
• Credentialing timeframe of 2-3 weeks
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
