Locum Physician – Cardiology Opportunity in Iowa
We are seeking an experienced, fellowship-trained Cardiologist for a full-time Locum Cardiology opportunity.
Position Details
- Start: ASAP (January 2027 with temporary privileges)
- Commitment: Full-time need; minimum 2 weeks per month, 4 weeks per month ideal
- Schedule: Mon-Thu 8:00a-5:00p, Fri 8:00a-12:30p
- Call: Weekday call 1:4; weekend call 1:5 or 1:6
- Setting: Clinic, outreach, and inpatient (Doctor of the Week rounding, echo/nuclear reads, TEE and cardioversions)
- EMR: Epic
Requirements
- MD/DO, Board Certified or truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of fellowship) in Cardiology (ABMS)
- Fellowship trained in Cardiology
- Active Iowa license or IMLC with LOQ
- Clean malpractice and background
