Locums | Cardiology | Richland, WA (WA license or IMLC)
Why This Role
7-on/7-off inpatient coverage
Ongoing need through 2027
3 APPs on the team
Approximately 30-day credentialing
No outpatient clinic or interventional procedures required
Assignment Details
Dates: December 1, 2026–ongoing through 2027
December needs: December 1–13 and December 28–January 3
Schedule: 7a–7p inpatient coverage plus overnight beeper call
Commitment: At least 2 full weeks/month
Call response: 20 minutes; phone consults included
Volume: Approximately 5–10 patients/shift
Setting: Inpatient; Level II trauma, stroke-certified hospital
Support: 3 APPs; no APP or resident supervision required
EMR: Epic
Credentialing: Approximately 30 days
Clinical Details
Required scope: Inpatient cardiology, ICU coverage, and daily rounding
Required skills: Echocardiography, TEE, and nuclear cardiology
Not required: Outpatient cardiology, STEMI coverage, cardiac catheterization, interventional cardiology, or electrophysiology
Requirements
BC in Cardiology required
Active WA license or IMLC
ACLS and BLS
Active DEA
