Cardiology – Non-Invasive Location: Westminster, Maryland Position Overview • Full-time, permanent opportunity for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist. • Primarily outpatient-focused practice with some inpatient cardiovascular responsibilities. • Join a growing, collaborative cardiovascular program supported by experienced cardiologists, advanced practice providers (APPs), and multidisciplinary teams. • Opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients while providing comprehensive, patient-centered cardiovascular care. • New graduates are encouraged to apply. Position Highlights • Five-day workweek. • Mix of outpatient consultations, established patient follow-ups, preventive cardiology, and cardiovascular disease management. • Limited inpatient responsibilities to support continuity of care and the overall cardiovascular program. • Shared cardiology call coverage, approximately 1:5 weekends, with APP support. • Collaboration with inpatient cardiology teams and cardiovascular subspecialists. • Access to a comprehensive cardiovascular diagnostic and procedural network. • Opportunities to participate in quality improvement, clinical education, and cardiovascular program development. • Guaranteed base salary with additional bonus potential. Clinical Responsibilities • Evaluate and manage new and established cardiology patients. • Diagnose and manage coronary artery disease, hypertension, heart failure, valvular heart disease, arrhythmias, cardiomyopathies, and other cardiovascular conditions. • Interpret and utilize non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic testing as appropriate. • Provide preventive cardiology services and cardiovascular risk-factor modification. • Develop longitudinal relationships with patients and referring providers. • Coordinate care with primary care providers and cardiovascular subspecialists. • Provide appropriate inpatient consultations, rounding, or coverage as part of shared group responsibilities. • Support transitions of care between inpatient and outpatient settings. • Collaborate with APPs, nurses, and other cardiovascular care team members. Qualifications • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease. • Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Preferred experience or training in echocardiography, including transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), and interpretation of nuclear cardiology studies. • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care. • Maryland medical license or eligibility for Maryland licensure. • Eligible for hospital privileges at the applicable facility. • New graduates are encouraged to apply. Compensation • Guaranteed base salary of $400,000–$600,000, depending on specialty, board certification, experience, and other applicable factors. • Additional work relative value unit (wRVU) and quality-based incentive opportunities.
