DO;MD - Cardiology
Job Details:
Provide ongoing inpatient coverage as a General CardiologistResponsibilities include inpatient hospital rounding and new cardiology consults
Average patient volume of 15-20 patients per day
Work alongside an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) during hospital coverage
Provide cardiology coverage and respond to consults as needed
Must be able to perform Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
Ability to read nuclear medicine studies and stress tests preferred
Cardioversion experience preferred
Tilt table experience preferred
Team-based coverage model in an inpatient hospital setting
Another provider handles outpatient noninvasive testing during the day
