Aya Healthcare is seeking a Board Certified General Cardiologist for a 6-9 month Locum Tenens opportunity with Rochester Regional Health, floating between Massena Hospital and Canton-Potsdam Hospital in Potsdam, NY. Start date: 10/5/2026.
- Rochester Regional Health, St. Lawrence Region: Level III adult trauma center
- Outpatient clinic and stress test supervision at Massena Hospital
- Hospital consult service at Canton-Potsdam Hospital
- Solo practice setting; Epic EMR
- Prefers 4 weeks per month; minimum 2 weeks per month considered
Job Responsibilities
• Supervise stress tests approximately 1 day per week; read nuclear studies as needed (preferred, not required)
• Provide inpatient consults, stress lab coverage and hospital consult service rotation
• Take on-call 4p-8a as needed to fill gaps
• Float between Massena Hospital and Canton-Potsdam Hospital in a solo practice setting
Qualifications
• No malpractice claims
• Active New York license in hand (willing to license)
• Epic experience required; AHA or RQI certifications
• Agency-branded CV; no work history gaps of 30+ days; 5+ years of experience preferred
