Job description
Outstanding Cardiology Opportunity – South Florida
We are recruiting a General Cardiologist to join an established, independent, physician-owned practice in South Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking strong earning potential, professional autonomy, and a balanced lifestyle without the constraints of hospital employment.
Compensation & Benefits
- $400,000–$425,000 guaranteed base salary, depending on qualifications.
- Uncapped productivity compensation based on actual professional collections, not RVUs.
- 401(k) with up to 5% employer match.
- 20 days PTO plus 11 paid holidays.
- 5 additional CME days plus $3,000 annual CME allowance.
- 100% employer-paid employee health insurance premium, with dependent coverage available.
- Dental, vision, FSA, malpractice coverage, and $100 monthly phone stipend.
- Relocation or commencement bonus negotiable for the right candidate.
Practice Highlights
- Established referral network with patients available from day one.
- Comprehensive in-office diagnostic capabilities and excellent clinical and administrative support.
- Hospital consultations only—no admitting or discharging responsibilities.
- Approximately 1:4 weekend call, with APP first response and support.
- Typical hospital census of just 5–12 patients.
- Initial office volume of approximately 10–12 patients daily, building toward 25–30 as the practice grows.
- Independent, physician-owned environment offering meaningful professional autonomy.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
The practice is recruiting proactively to accommodate continued growth, not to relieve an overburdened physician staff. The incoming cardiologist will enjoy an established infrastructure, strong patient demand, transparent compensation, and the opportunity to grow a rewarding practice without sacrificing quality of life.
