Job description
Locum tenens opportunity for a General Cardiologist in northern New York, covering an outpatient clinic and the hospital consult service. Six to nine month assignment; four weeks per month preferred, minimum two weeks per month considered.
- Solo cardiology practice with outpatient clinic about 3 days per week
- Supervision of stress tests approx. 1 day per week plus inpatient consults and stress lab
- Floating between a community hospital clinic and the main hospital consult service
- Epic charting; Level III/IV adult trauma hospital
- Privileging and credentialing start as soon as a provider is identified
Job Responsibilities
• Supervise stress tests approx. 1 day per week; inpatient consults and stress lab
• Read nuclear stress studies as needed (preferred, not required); ad hoc hospital consult service rotation
• On-call 4p-8a as needed; float between two facilities
Qualifications
• NY license in hand required
• Epic experience required; AHA or RQI certifications
• Clean malpractice history (no claims)
• 5+ years of experience preferred
