Opportunity Overview
Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Cardiologist for clinic and hospital coverage at a 150-bed facility.

Coverage needed: 1 week plus 1 weekend per month

Adult patient population
-
Approximately 17–18 patients per day

Clinic has one full-time physician
-
Cardiac catheterization lab coverage 3 days per week

APP support available, with interventional cardiology support when covering general cardiology

EPIC EMR

Clinic and hospital practice settings
Schedule & Coverage

24-hour call coverage
-
Current coverage dates: January 18 at 7:00 AM through January 25 at 7:00 AM

Night callback is typically zero.
-
Weekend callback is typically zero, but rounding is required.
Clinical Details
-
Provide general cardiology services in the clinic and hospital.

Perform and interpret nuclear cardiology studies.

Conduct stress tests.
-
Perform transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs).

Perform cardioversions.

Interpret and monitor echocardiograms.
-
CT interpretation experience preferred.

Participate in cardiac catheterization lab coverage 3 days per week.
Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology

Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC accepted

DEA registration required
-
Minimum of 1 year of experience

EPIC experience
-
Temporary privileges available for candidates with a clean credentialing file
