Position Overview:

- Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient (150-bed Acute Care Hospital)
- Coverage Type: 24-Hour Call Coverage
Coverage Dates:
- January 18, 2027 (7:00 AM) – January 25, 2027 (7:00 AM)
Schedule & Call Details:
- Shift Duration: 7-Day Block Coverage (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
- Call Structure: 24-Hour Call Coverage
- Average Callback: 0 call-backs overnight / 0 call-backs on weekends (rounding required)
Clinical Responsibilities & Volume:
- Patient Volume: 17–18 patients per day
- Patient Population: Adult care
- Practice Setup: 1 full-time clinic physician on-site; lab open 3 days per week
- Support Staff: Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support available
Procedures & Technical Details:
- Required Procedures: Stress tests, TEEs, cardioversions, echo monitors, and nuclear reads
- Preferred Skills: CT reads
- EMR System: EPIC
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Board Certification: BC or BE in General Cardiology
- Licensure: Active Pennsylvania State Medical License, IMLC/LOQ in hand, OR willing to obtain a PA license
- Certifications & Credentials: Active DEA required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical experience required
