Aya Healthcare is seeking a Cardiology physician for a 6-9 month Locum Tenens opportunity floating between Massena Hospital and Canton-Potsdam Hospital (Rochester Regional Health) in northern New York. Start date 10/5/2026.
- Solo general cardiology practice; outpatient clinic and stress test supervision at Massena Hospital
- Hospital consult service at Canton-Potsdam Hospital (Level III-IV adult trauma)
- Prefers 4 weeks per month; open to a minimum of 2 weeks per month
- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
• Supervise stress tests approx. 1 day per week; read nuclear stress studies as needed (preferred)
• Provide inpatient consults and stress lab coverage, plus ad hoc hospital consult service rotation
• Float between Massena Hospital and Canton-Potsdam Hospital; on-call 4P-8A as needed
Qualifications
• No malpractice claims; 5+ years of experience preferred
• NY license in hand
• Epic experience required; AHA or RQI certifications
