Locums | Cardiology | Richland, WA (WA license or IMLC) Why This Role

  • WA license or IMLC accepted
  • 7-on/7-off schedule, 2 weeks/month
  • Expedited credentialing for clean files
  • Long-term coverage throughout 2027
  • Noninvasive Cardiology; no PCI or STEMI coverage required
Assignment Details Start/end: December 2026 - ongoing through 2027 Schedule: 7-on/7-off; minimum 2 full weeks/month Shift times: 7a-7p, followed by overnight beeper call Coverage type: Inpatient + Night Call Call response time: 20 minutes Call ratio: To be determined Volume: Approximately 5-10 patients per shift Setting: Inpatient Cardiology, including ICU; Level II trauma hospital Rounding: Assigned and unassigned patients Support: 3 APPs; no APP supervision required EMR: Epic Credentialing: ~30 days for qualified candidates Clinical Details Inpatient Cardiology consultations and management Daily inpatient and ICU rounding Noninvasive Cardiology Echocardiography Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) Nuclear cardiology interpretation Weeknight beeper call and telephone consultations No outpatient clinic responsibilities STEMI coverage not required Cardiac catheterization, PCI, and EP procedures not required Requirements Board Certified in Cardiology License: Active WA medical license or IMLC Active DEA required ACLS required BLS required Inpatient and ICU Cardiology experience Echocardiography, TEE, and nuclear cardiology proficiency required Ability to provide inpatient coverage and overnight call Minimum availability of 2 full weeks/month Long-term availability preferred Compensation Rate caps apply per facility Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
