Aya Healthcare is seeking a General Cardiologist for a 6-9 month locum tenens opportunity floating between Massena Hospital and Canton-Potsdam Hospital (Rochester Regional Health) in northern New York. Start date 10/5/2026.
- Solo practice outpatient clinic about 3 days per week
- Supervise stress tests about 1 day per week; inpatient consults and stress lab
- Occasional on-call 4p-8a; ad hoc hospital consult rotation
- Epic EMR; prefers 4 weeks/month, minimum 2 weeks/month considered
Job Responsibilities
• Supervise stress tests approx. 1 day per week; inpatient consults and stress lab
• Read nuclear stress studies as needed (preferred, not required)
• On-call 4p-8a as needed; hospital consult service rotation
• Float between Massena Hospital and Canton-Potsdam Hospital
Qualifications
• Board certified to read cardiac imaging preferred
• Active New York license in hand
• 5+ years of experience preferred
• Epic experience required; AHA or RQI certifications
