- Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call - Beeper Call
- This assignment is for inpatient and outpatient
- The physician will do one weekend per month of call.
- Unit/Department: Cardiology (4 beds)
- Practice setting: Inpatient and outpatient; ICU involvement
- Typical volume: 10-12 patient encounters per shift
- Call Response Time Required: 30 Min, Call Ratio: 1:1, Call Back: 5%
- Avg Call # Per 24 Hour: Phone Consults: 1-2, Patients Seen: 1-2, Admissions: 1
- Required skills/procedures: Non-invasive cardiology: Echocardiography, TEE, Nuclear cardiology, STEMI management, Electrophysiology: Cardiac ablation, permanent pacemaker placement, ICD implantation, Inpatient and outpatient cardiology; ICU care
- EMR System: Athena Meditech
- Certifications: VA license, ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, TEEs would be good, but not a deal breaker
- Estimated credentialing time: ~30 days
