Aya Healthcare is seeking a General Cardiologist for a 6-9 month locum tenens assignment in northern New York, floating between a community hospital outpatient clinic and the main hospital in Potsdam.
- Outpatient clinic, stress test supervision, inpatient consults, and stress lab coverage
- Solo practice setting; ad hoc hospital consult service rotation
- Monday-Friday day schedule with call as needed to fill gaps
- Epic charting system
- Four weeks per month preferred; minimum two weeks per month considered
Job Responsibilities
• Supervise stress tests (approx. 1 day per week); read nuclear stress studies as needed (preferred, not required)
• Cover inpatient consults and the stress lab; ad hoc hospital consult service rotation at Canton-Potsdam Hospital
• On-call 4p-8a as needed; floating between two facilities
Qualifications
• New York license in hand
• Epic experience required
• Preferred 5+ years of experience; no malpractice claims
• Agency-branded CV
