Inpatient Cardiology Opening in Connecticut
Located in Hartford, CT
BE/BC
Full-time; Permanent position
7 on/7 off schedule
Overview
The inpatient role focuses on consultative and follow-up care for patients with medium to high cardiac complexity admitted to the hospital
Responsibilities include evaluation of new consults, collaborative in-hospital care/rounding, and transitional care for patients with heart-related conditions
Clinical, research and teaching opportunities with fellows and the clinical cardiology team
Opportunity for hybrid position with inpatient and outpatient is also available
Proficiency in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology certification is preferred
