Full Time | General Cardiology
Seeking BC/BE General Cardiologist to join team in Kankakee, IL.
Position Highlights:
Join an established and rapidly growing Cardiology practice
Health system-employed opportunity
Primarily outpatient practice with inpatient rotation
Average of 19 patients per day
Shared call schedule covering one hospital
Inpatient service supported by fellows and APPs
Comprehensive cardiovascular service line with approximately 100 dedicated staff members
Accredited Cardiac Rehabilitation program
Cardio-Oncology services available
Chest Pain Accreditation
Epic EHR with DAX AI Scribe
Located approximately one hour south of Chicago
Cardiology Team:
3 Interventional Cardiologists and 2 APPs
2 General Cardiologists and 1 APP
2 Electrophysiologists and 1 APP
Vascular Surgeon and APP
Cardiothoracic Surgeon
Heart Failure APP
Anticoagulation Clinic Pharmacists
Dedicated Cardiology Pharmacist
Comprehensive services including open heart surgery, TAVR, Watchman, AAA procedures, and stenting
Qualifications:
MD or DO
Completion of an accredited Cardiology fellowship
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
Active or eligible Illinois medical license
Strong commitment to collaborative, patient-centered cardiovascular care
