Non-Invasive Cardiology Opportunity in Jacksonville, FL
Position Overview:
* Established private single-specialty cardiology and peripheral vascular practice
* Join a team of 8 cardiologists, including 5 interventional cardiologists, 1 electrophysiologist, and 2 non-invasive cardiologists
* Large established patient population with referrals from more than 100 referring providers
* Busy practice with immediate opportunity to build a strong patient panel
* Main office located directly across from a 450-bed hospital
* Collaborative environment with experienced cardiologists and 7 ARNPs
Practice Highlights:
* Outpatient cardiology consultations and follow-up
* Hospital rounding and cardiology consultations
* General cardiology for a broad patient population
* Diagnostic testing interpretation
* Nuclear cardiology
* Echocardiography
* Cardiac CT
* Cardiac PET and SPECT
* Vascular ultrasound
* Pacemaker checks
* Remote ECG monitoring
* Patients are admitted through hospitalists or primary care physicians
* Cardiologists provide consultation rather than primary inpatient management
* After-hours responsibilities are generally limited to phone calls
* Occasional coverage at nearby satellite offices, typically for an entire clinic day

* Nuclear medicine with SPECT and cardiac PET

Requirements:
* MD or DO
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
* Non-Invasive Cardiology background
* Strong general cardiology skills
* Ability to recognize and manage both cardiac and peripheral vascular conditions
* Nuclear Cardiology boards preferred
* Comfortable with outpatient consultations, hospital rounding, and diagnostic testing
