Physician - Cardiology
Job Details:
Cardiology physician coverage providing nights and weekend second call coverageMinimum 1 week per month and 1 weekend per month (as needed for scheduling); shifts do not need to be consecutive
Monday through Thursday: 8:00 PM 6:00 AM (10 hours)
Friday: 8:00 PM 7:00 AM (11 hours)
Saturday: 5:00 PM 7:00 AM (14 hours)
Sunday: 5:00 PM 6:00 AM (13 hours)
Patient population: Adult
Provide consults upon request and evaluation & management (E&M) services only; no procedures required
Read Echo and nuclear studies performed in the hospital
Provide care for patients admitted under the Heartcare department
Required to maintain a manual log of all charges
Pager provided by the Heartcare department
EMR: Epic
Hospital practice setting
Board Certification in Cardiology required
Active North Carolina state license required
DEA required
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Minimum 1 2 years of experience required
Local candidates only
