Job description
OnCall Solutions is partnering with an acute care hospital in North Carolina seeking a Board Certified Cardiologist for a 69-week locums assignment beginning December 2026.
Local candidates only. Travel accommodations are not provided; local proximity to the worksite must be confirmed.
Opportunity Highlights:
• Minimum 1 week and 1 weekend/month, as needed
• Nonconsecutive shifts permitted
• No procedures required
• Epic EMR
Schedule:
• Monday–Thursday: 8 PM–6 AM
• Friday: 8 PM–7 AM
• Saturday: 5 PM–7 AM
• Sunday: 5 PM–6 AM
Responsibilities:
• Inpatient cardiology consults and E&M
• Hospital echo and nuclear study interpretation
• Care for patients admitted to the cardiology service
• Maintain manual charge logs
• Temporary pacemakers managed by the EP on-call physician
Requirements:
• Active North Carolina medical license
• Board Certified in Cardiology
• Current ACLS, BLS and DEA
• Inpatient consultative cardiology experience
• Echo and nuclear interpretation experience
• Ability to cover the assignment locally
